About this Project
Living Forest is located in the Arenal Volcano/Lake Arenal region of Costa Rica. The retreat is at the end of the road, tucked into the jungle where monkeys and toucans flutter through the trees and a small stream that flows through the property. Basically—it's paradise.
This was the kind of project we could get used to. Johanna Harmala, the founder and owner of Living Forest invited us to Costa Rica to spend a week at the retreat, documenting the property and beautiful surroundings. It hardly seems like work, when you wake up at dawn to chase shots of monkeys and tropical birds, spend afternoon in natural thermal springs and evenings chatting with new friends on the giant veranda. Needless to say, we recorded a ton of wonderful footage showing that Living Forest is a special corner of Costa Rica.
